Art House Café Lecture Series: This Sunday!

The Grimsby Public Art Gallery is launching its fifth Art House Café lecture Series! 

Join us Sunday, October 23 at 2pm, for our Keynote Speaker, Jennifer Matotek, M.A. 
Director/Curator & Independent Scholar at Dunlop Art Gallery, Regina, Saskatchewan, as she presents: Curating Collaborative: presenting contemporary art from myriad perspectives, together.

Born and raised in Grimsby, Ontario (and former GPAG summer student), Jennifer Matotek has held curatorial and administrative positions at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery, and the Art Gallery of Hamilton. She has curated numerous exhibitions for galleries and artist-run centers across Canada.
Her work as a video artist has been shown internationally.  Matotek’s writing has been published by Black Dog Publishing, Momus, YYZ Artists’ Outlet, Gallery 44, Vtape, and Magenta, among others.
Jennifer Matotek holds an MA in Art History from York University and a Diploma in Curatorial Studies. She completed an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, York University.
