GPAG Summer Studio Instructor Position: Deadline Extended!

Thanks to the generosity of Young Canada Works, the Grimsby Public Art Gallery is pleased to offer the position of Studio Instructor this summer, and we have EXTENDED our deadline to MONDAY, JUNE 1st at 5pm!

The Grimsby Public Art Gallery seeks a well-organized, motivated and enthusiastic individual for the position of Summer Studio Instructor. The Summer Studio Instructor will be responsible for developing and running the summer children’s programs at the gallery and for helping to plan educational programs for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will have a least some post-secondary training in visual arts, art history or museum studies. S/he will have experience working with a variety of art media as well as experience working with children. Flexibility is essential, as is the ability to work efficiently both as part of a team and independently. Fluency in English is required, a basic knowledge of French is an asset. Basic computer skills are required and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher, as well as the ability to learn other programs quickly, would be helpful.
