The Town of Grimsby’s Heritage Advisory Committee, in cooperation with the Grimsby Public Art Gallery, is pleased to present the 8th Annual Heritage Art Competition. The goal of this community art event is to inspire Grimsby residents to embrace and enjoy local heritage from architecture and the landscape to events, personalities and artifacts. The contest encourages participants to look at everyday places from a different perspective and to better understand the characters and events that have shaped our town and our people. It is an opportunity for everyone to discover and reflect on the importance of heritage in our day-to-day lives by researching local history and creating art. The competition is open to all ages, from JK to adult.
