Watercolour for Beginners


Our upcoming Watercolour Painting class is perfect for Beginners and for students who want to brush up (ha!) on their skills in a creative and relaxed environment.

Watercolour for Beginners 
with Chris O’Hoski
Wednesdays July 20, 27 & August 3, 10, 2011 (4 sessions) from 6:00 8:00pm
$55 members / $65 non–members
A course designed for those who have never painted with watercolour (or any painting medium) and for those looking to further understand the wonderful medium of watercolour. Participants will be shown step-by- step as to how watercolour has been used by various contemporary artists, as well as simple techniques used for drawing and creating paintings. Classes may be taken outdoors (weather permitting). This course is designed to help participants be creative, have fun, and be comfortable learning how to paint. 

A little bit about your instructor, Chris O'Hoski:

Born in South-Western, Ontario, Canada, Christopher O'Hoski studied art history, painting, drawing, design and arts education at Sheridan College, the Dundas Valley School of Art and the Royal Conservatory.
Christopher has exhibited in New York, Washington, Atlanta, Austin, Brooklyn, Portland, Hamilton and Toronto, and has recently being published in International Contemporary Artists Volumes I & II (textbooks) out of Europe and New York .

Christopher is represented by the Trillium Gallery, New York.
